Gîte des Romarins
From 60€/person half board. Self-catering : depending on the gîte + 6 €/horse
Situated right in the middle of the Hérault, in the foothills of the Cévennes, not far from the Pic Saint Loup, just 30 minutes away from the sea, Nicole and Philippe will welcome you to the Gîte des Romarins, a large farmhouse with four comfortable equestrian gîtes, in the very heart of a winegrowing area with a rich cultural heritage: the Languedoc, to savour and discover as you wend your way through it.
Nicole and Philippe suggest that you trek out from their base in 20 to 40km stages, some of which can be done in a horse-drawn carriage on the circuits proposed by the association Vidourle à cheval, and to make the most of their gîtes with their great comfort and swimming pool.
You will zigzag your way through the landscape among garrigue, olive groves, wooded hills and vineyards. You will be able to make the most of some magnificent vantage points and also taste the wine directly at the producer’s.
The climate of this region offers you fine days all year long.
Accommodation : at the Mas des Romarins in its four 3-star rated gîtes (capacity for 2 to 30 people). Self-catering or 1/2 board (night + meal + breakfast + horse and hay).
